He studied drawing and art history at Jindřich Vávra. He first got close to the issue of visually challenged while working in The Library and Printing House for the Blind (KTN) in Prague from 1991 till 1998. Since then he is constantly developing and improving the manufacturing techniques of tactile graphics. He is the author of hundreds of matrices. Since 1997 he is, for exemple, creating calendars for KTN. His personal work is focused mainly on graphics. The Municipal Library of Prague purchased seven of his monotypes for its art collection. Some of his works can also be found in the permanent collection of Municipal Museum and Gallery Břeclav and in private collections all over the world (Japan, USA, Slovakia).
